Leave a comment for Jaymun's family. Encouragement and company is always welcome.

Do you know anyone who needs to write a thank you note? There's help in the list.

Also there's just some interesting people working at crafting their lives.

What I mean is ... Please spell it out for us all that you are participating in Thursday Thirteen and leave your link.

And don't be bashful if it's already Friday or Saturday ... leave me a note anyway and I'll come visit ... especially since I do most of my Thursday Thirteen visiting on Friday since most of you post to my blog after I'm asleep for the day anyway :~)

Today's Participants at ThursdayThirteen.com

I enjoy your comments. And I want you to enjoy reading each other's comments. To that end purpose, I moderate comments. If you're impatient, MeeboMe.

Commenting Ideas
  • If you do not have a blog or site, skip the "web site" line, pull a name or "handle" out of your head, write a note, push the button. (No excuses!)
  • If this entry reminds you of a story of a similar place in time in your life, you are welcome to tell your story.
  • If you discover your story is taking more than 3 or 4 paragraphs (and if you have a place on the web for your writings), I will not be insulted if you take your story back and finish it at your own site. But then I will be disappointed if you don't come back and leave me a summary of your story and a link -- in the comments.
  • If you have already written a story about a similar place in time, please feel free to leave a summary and a link.
  • It's never too late to make a comment or tell a story.

I'm not a Thursday Thirteener, but I enjoyed some of these links... especially BooMama's follow-up on the tragic story of her friend Elise. Thanks!

As with last week, this is a good list. Your blog is inspiring and creative.

My 13 is up.

Happy Christmas and best wishes for 2007. I enjoyed the 'believe in Surnits' article, though it didn't cover the fact that believing in fairies, Santa etc is very important to a child's emotional development. The thank you note article was topical too, given that I'm trying to get my three to produce pictorial thank yous for all their presents and write my own - usually the biggest challenge is getting them in the post.

Hello! What a creative way to share with the world the things that you've found interesting as you stroll through blogs! :)

As you know, we've had a tough week at our house, so I'm very behind on reading my favorite blogs.

And here is a silly question: what is a Thursday Thirteen? I can't seem to figure it out on my own (duh!) But that is the way my week has been going. My husband just called to say that as he was breaking down the boxes from Christmas, he found a Johnny Cash CD that I had forgotten to give him. Duh! I need a vacation from the holidays! Happy New Year!

Sophie, Let me drop you a note in a few. Billy's off this week and I have a few irons in the fire. I'm glad to see you surfacing. Ya'll have been in my prayers! ~pam

My website is largely my memoir ... my musings, photos, encounters, life's stories.

But what really thrills me is that when I let go of my stories, it's like sending out little sail boats out on expeditions. Very often they come back to me filled with other people's stories. Continue...
