Fall at Multnomah Falls Brings Out Tourists

This was taken a beautiful late October day. Billy and I had a blast dilly-dallying our way to the top. It went like this:

Come on Pam.

But I want a shot or two of this.

Ok I'm going to go on and then come back and I'll bet I'll still find you right here, still shooting that.

No, I'll be at least 50 ft further up the path.

He goes off.

I finish and go on and catch up.

He says ... give me the camera a minute.

I hand over the camera

I wait

I say ... I'll be back in a min.

But then near the top I was saying things like this to people who were coming down:

Is it worth it?

Oh yes it's worth it. but it's really worth more to go to the left away from the falls.

Then I was passed by a 70 yr old couple that was doing 25mph ... that was humiliating.

Then we got up to the top ... That is a different set of pictures ... Oh My Goodness!! it is sooo worth it!
